I was recently published in the Bulgarian Magazine, Sign Cafe's February 2009 issue!!
Months ago I was contacted by one of their personnel. She wanted to interview me and had chosen her favourite images from my website, in hopes of my work being featured in their magazine. I had some mixed feelings at first as I've been approached with many "to good to be true" emails that turn out to be scams. In the end I decided to go for it, while keeping a weary eye.
I'm so glad I did! They created a 9 page feature on me, including a full interview, and 10 largely printed photos of some of my most favourite pieces!
They've sent me 2 copies of their magazine. Its a beautiful, thick magazine with incredible art and creative topics that I am so proud to be among.

As well, though it doesn't show on the images posted, each image did include a caption and all models received credit for their amazing contribution. I even got to give Jordan Faye, my boyfriend, exposure by adding his myspace account to his caption. www.myspace.com/jordanfayemusic.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant! You'll have to make a trip to Bulgaria and see the editors in person. I believe that Bulgaria is very beautiful and not as expensive as Europe is.
